About Course

There are two main types courses we deliver for First Aid Training - the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course and the 3-day First Aid at Work training.

Our trainers deliver professional accredited training in the correct first aid procedures.

Course Delivery

• Course introduction and induction
• Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation
• Assessing and Monitoring a casualty
• Accident Reporting and Recording
• Approved code of practices
• How to deal with someone who is unresponsive and breathing/not breathing
• How to deal with someone who has burns
• How to deal with someone who has a head injury or other impact injury, including how to deal with bleeding
• Dealing with stressful situations
• Roles and resposibilities of first aiders at work
• Assessing the situation and acting safely and efficiently in an emergency
• Theoretical examination
• Ongoing practical assessment and examination
